Allow us to share the story behind Casa Verdessa, a haven we've built in the heart of Costa Rica. What began as a dream has blossomed into a reality, as our incredible community and I joined hands, to construct six sustainable earth homes.
Passion and Community spirit
It all started with an idea to create living spaces harmonizing with nature. Guided by the principles of sustainability, we started our ambitious project of building earth homes. We made a plan, collected materials and started working towards our vision of eco-friendly living. Local artisans, neighbors, and friends shared their expertise and time, turning our project into a community effort. The construction process became a celebration of unity and sustainability.
Unique accommodations
Today, Casa Verdessa stands as a testament to our shared commitment. Our six beautiful earth homes, each with their own name—Iguana, Perezoso, Colibrí, Pizote, Mariposa and Tortuga—await the footsteps of travelers seeking more than just a stay.
All of our earth homes offer bed(s) and private outdoor bathrooms. For those seeking a culinary adventure, three of our earth homes additionally feature fully equipped kitchens. Each space reflects the essence of its animal namesake, creating a distinctive, immersive experience.
